My husband, two friends, and I did a 5-day trek through the Huayhuash region with Peruvian Huayhuash E.I.R.L., and we had an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. Organizing the trek was incredibly quick and efficient. Everything was taken care of, and all the camping equipment we needed was provided, which made preparing for the trip very easy. Our guide, Edgar, was amazing. He truly went above and beyond and was genuinely excited to explore and share this beautiful region with us. With four of us hiking at different paces, he did a fantastic job of keeping an eye on everyone, making sure the group stayed together, and ensuring we were all comfortable throughout the trek. The entire team was exceptional. Edgar, our cook Judith, and the muleteer worked incredibly hard each day, and by the time we arrived at camp everything was set up and ready for us. And the food!! Judith is an incredibly talented cook. We were provided with three main meals a day plus snacks, and the food was absolutely sensational. We definitely never went hungry! It was amazing to see the quality and variety of food she was able to prepare for us while trekking in the mountains. The route they chose allowed us to experience all the major highlights of the Huayhuash region during our five days. The hiking itself was challenging, but the team took care of so much that they somehow made the whole experience feel easy and incredibly enjoyable. We would highly recommend Peruvian Huayhuash E.I.R.L. to anyone wanting to complete all or part of the Huayhuash Circuit. The entire team went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, safe, and having a great time. Thank you to Edgar, Judith, and the whole team for giving us such an unforgettable experience. Peruvian Huayhuash treks organized a flawless circumnavigation of the Cordillera Huayhuash for my friend and I.  Joel Vargas impressed me with his attention to detail and his extensive knowledge of both the Cordillera Huayhuash and the Cordillera Blanca.  We employed horses to carry the heavy loads from camp to camp, freeing us up to explore several amazing valleys and high route trails one seldom sees during the “normal” circuit route.
