The Yanapaccha Climb (5,460 m) is a thrilling short expedition designed for climbers who want to experience real alpine climbing in the heart of the Cordillera Blanca. Located near the famous Llanganuco Valley, this elegant snow-covered peak offers stunning glacier routes, incredible views, and an ideal training experience for higher climbs.
The adventure begins with a scenic drive from Huaraz to Cebollapampa, followed by a hike to the base camp at around 4,800 m. The following morning, the ascent starts before dawn, crossing icy ridges and steep snow slopes (up to 55–60°) with the support of professional mountain guides. From the summit, you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of Chopicalqui, Chacraraju, and Huascarán, the highest peak in Peru.
